ConceptOS runs Ordinary Concepts — five distinct restaurant brands, three active cities, and a national franchise deal in motion.
"We couldn't do 18-hour days working for other people. So we said: let's do something that can still make money, but we can do on our own."
— Sandy Nguyen, Co-FounderCurrent Concepts
Vietnamese fast-casual. Drive-thru. Called "the Vietnamese Chipotle" by the industry press. Three Houston locations, franchise deal for 24 more across the Southeast.
Fine-fast coffee shop and luxury retailer with drive-through. Garden Oaks original — a former laundromat turned neighborhood anchor.
Healthy eating cafe in Hermann Park. Açaí bowls, sandwiches, and honest food for people who care about what goes into their body.
Why We Exist
Food isn't just fuel. It's the moment a stranger becomes a neighbor, a first date turns into a relationship, and a family finds a place to gather. We're building the infrastructure to make that happen at scale — not just in Houston, but everywhere Vietnamese flavors deserve a seat at the table.
How We Work
Every concept starts with what goes in the food, not what goes on the menu. Bánh mi bread baked fresh daily. Local sourcing where it matters. No shortcuts.
Fine-fast means fine dining quality at fast-casual speed. That requires systems, not just passion. We're building the OS that makes it repeatable across cities and time zones.
Domestic abuse survivors on staff. Local vendors over national distributors. The community is part of the product, not a backdrop to it.
It could be in Katy. Or Knoxville. Or Coral Gables. ConceptOS is the infrastructure that makes it possible — the operations layer between a proven concept and a national brand.
